Gee, it's been awhile!

Too much has been going on lately with the HQ-A contest and just things I've had to deal with at work and  life in general. I've been working on a Hackintosh system to sell for anyone who wants one, but can't build it themselves, for whatever the reason. If this is successful, I may do another one, but if not I will load Ubuntu on it and probably sell it on Ebay just to recoup my costs. Here is a video of the system in action in case anyone is interested:

The ProjSys2 contest has come and gone, the winner was an HQ-A member in New Jersey. The system has been shipped and he has received it. I hope he enjoys using it as much as I did building it. Here is the video of the drawing:

While trying to be good and keep my speed down, I managed to catch the attention of a female KY state trooper the other day coming home from work. I was passing a semi and got up to 72 MPH while doing it. She just happened to be coming the other way. Normally when passing on this stretch of road I would have been doing 80-85 MPH, but as I said, I was trying to be good. Guess I'll find out how much my attempt at goodness will cost when I pay the ticket.

I know it made me sick, I've been off work since. No, it wasn't that, but I believe I caught a bug which has been going around. Some sore of stomach virus, not much is staying down, but hopefully today I will be able to keep what I eat for a longer period of time. It's no fun being sick, but I try to make the best of it by sitting in front of the keyboard in between trips to the bathroom.

We got a brief snow shower yesterday. It actually got colder during the day, down to about 30 or so, before it finally went back up around 41. It is still March, so I suppose that is not out of the ordinary, but this winter seems like it will never end, even though we have had a day or two in the 70's already. I'm ready for spring and summer to get here, I hate cold weather.

I've always heard when you start talking about the weather you've run out of things to talk about, so I guess that is enough for now. Hope to make another post sooner rather than later next time.
